Language

The primary language is Amharic, but Ethiopia is a multilingual nation with 80+ languages spoken, including Oromo, Tigrinya, and Somali. It also has its own script: Ge’ez (Fidel) — one of the few native African writing systems still in use.



Religion

Ethiopia is a deeply religious country. It's home to Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, one of the oldest Christian traditions in the world, dating back to the 4th century. Islam and traditional faiths also have long histories here.
