We need to invest in encouraging open source social media; AT Protocol (ATmosphere), Fediverse, Nostr, that can be properly regulated and protected.

I'm not saying we give up anonymity/pseudo anonymity entirely but there should be online places where you can go and be confident that people are who they say they are and where you can be assured of a basic level of protection. I don't think that's too much to ask.
