The New Stage of Web3 in Iran: From Survival to Innovation

When I look at Iran, I don't just see challenges. I see opportunity. Yes, there are sanctions, restrictions and economic pressure. But that's exactly why Web3 is taking off there. For us in this space, decentralization is not hype. It's a real solution.

I have followed the Iranian market closely. The first wave was all about mining and trading Bitcoin. It made sense because energy was cheap.

But what I see now is different. This is the new stage.

First, the builders. There are serious Iranian developers now building on Ethereum, Solana and Layer 2s. They are not just trading, they are creating.

Second, the artists. Iranian artists are using NFTs to take Persian art to the world. They don't need permission from anyone.

Third, the community. Young guys in Tehran, Isfahan and Mashhad are forming DAOs, learning together and pushing the ecosystem forward.

Of course, challenges remain. Internet issues and regulations are still there. But as a man who believes in decentralization, I think tools like IPFS, DEXs and VPNs will keep them resilient.

In my opinion, Iran is one of the most important places to watch for Web3. The need is real, the talent is real, and the future is decentralized.
