William Blake
William Blake, who was not appreciated during his lifetime, is now hailed as a brilliant poet and painter who has influenced countless generations. 
Songs of Innocence and Experience, a book of poetry he also illustrated, is arguably his most well-known work. 
You may be familiar with The Tyger, a well-known poem from this book, which begins:
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,                                                          
In the forests of the night                    

T.S. Eliot
With his well-known poem The Wasteland, American poet T.S. Eliot helped usher in a new literary era known as modernism. 
Andrew Lloyd Webber adapted his collection of poetry, The Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, into the musical Cats. 
These legendary quotes might sound familiar to The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,                                                         
It isn’t just one of your holiday games;                                                         
You may think at first I’m as mad as a hatter                                                         
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.
