Ingredients for Molasses Tahini Halva Balls Recipe

  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup carob flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 3/4 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 handful of walnuts


How to Make Molasses Tahini Halva Balls Recipe?

  1. Add the oil to the pan and add whole wheat flour while it is heating.
  2. Roast over low heat until the smell of the flour disappears (about 20 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile, mix boiling water and molasses thoroughly. Add carob flour and walnuts to the roasted flour and fry for a few more minutes.
  4. Add the hot water with molasses slowly and stirring.
  5. Finally, add the tahini to the halva that absorbs the liquid, mix well and turn off the heat.
  6. Shape it either with a teaspoon or by rolling it with your hand.
