LeBron Raymone James d. (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player.

James was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio. She was 16 years old when her mother, Gloria Marie James, gave birth to her. Due to her mother's search for a job, they had to move from one neighborhood to another in Akron.

His mother, Gloria, wanted LeBron to play football to pass his free time. And later he signed up for local youth football coach Frank Walkerza's team. He was introduced to basketball when he was 9 years old.

As a child, he started playing basketball on the Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars team of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). LeBron, along with his friends on this team led by Sian Cotton, Dru Joyce III and Willie McGee, achieved many successes at the local and national levels in the state.

He also became the player in NBA history to score the most points in his first game for a rookie player drafted from high school. With 41 points in the match against the New Jersey Nets, he became the youngest player in history to score more than 40 points in a game. At the end of the season, James won the Rookie of the Year award, competing with Carmelo Anthony, and became the first Cavaliers basketball player to do so.

In addition, by averaging 20.9 points, 5.9 assists and 5.5 rebounds in his rookie season, he became the third player in history to achieve 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in his rookie year, after Michael Jordan and Oscar Robertson.
