Four drug trafficking kingpins have been captured by NDLEA.

The arrests made by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in various regions of the nation over the past week include two women and two men who are wanted in connection with more than 16,000 kg of illicit substances that were intercepted in Lagos, Abuja, and the Netherlands.

The spokesperson for the drug enforcement agency, Femi Babafemi, announced this in a statement on Sunday.

Two women and two men who are wanted in connection with more than 16,000 kg of illegal substances that were intercepted in Lagos, Abuja, and the Netherlands were among the four people who were arrested by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency agents over the course of the past week in various parts of the country.
The drug enforcement agency's spokeswoman, Femi Babafemi, made this announcement in a statement on Sunday.
A well-known drug dealer in Lagos' Mushin-Isolo axis, Monday On Monday, October 17, Michael, 45, was also detained while transporting 365.7kg of cannabis in two Toyota Sienna space buses with the license plates FST 189 FD and FST 273 GF.
Following the arrest of his wife, Saadatu Abdullahi, 35, who was discovered at the store when it was raided, another drug lord, Abdulkadir Mohammed, 47, was apprehended on Sunday, October 16. He was wanted in connection with the seizure of 5,640kg of cannabis at a warehouse in the Chukuku neighborhood of Kuje, Abuja.
At least ten people were detained in Edo in connection with the discovery of 4,870.2kgs of cannabis in various sections of the state.

On October 19, agents attacked the Ohusu Forest Boundary in the Ovia South-West Local Government Area, where they found 3,159.7kg of cocaine in total and detained three suspects—Effiong Udo, Daniel Ebong, and Asuquo Effiong.
Similarly, on Saturday, October 22, agents stopped a Toyota Sienna space bus on Uwenusi Road in the Uhunmonde LGA carrying 49 bags of C/S totalling 638.5kg, and they also found 36kg of the same material hidden in a bush near Uromi/Ubiaja Road. In a separate operation, John Paul, Liberty Rolland, and Aboki Stephen, three suspects, were detained at Okpe in Akoko Edo with 55 kg of marijuana.

While 127 kg of C/S were found and Pius John, a suspect, was detained, operators raided Okpe Forest and found 854 kg of the same material after several cannabis farms there had been destroyed. Three suspects were detained after being found in possession of the 854kg C/S: David Obada, Blessing Okechukwu, and Odoh Sunday.
On Sunday, October 16, agents stormed the Aponmu Forest in the Idanre LGA of Ondo State, where they found 52 bags of C/S weighing 676kg and the truck being used to load the consignment. On Tuesday, October 18, agents arrested the trio of Christopher Amuzoga, Chikogu Samuel, and Ijeoma Okenna with 690kg of cannabis.

Isah Mohammed and Sandra Okafor were captured with 538 blocks of C/S weighing 391.2kg, 259,000 tramadol tablets, 100 bottles of codeine-based syrup, and 150,000 pregabalin tablets by agents in Kano on Friday, October 21.
Following the arrest of Abel John and Helen James in the Gonin Gora neighborhood of Kaduna with 328.7 kg C/S, 5,000 tramadol tablets and 25,000 Exol-5 tablets were found along the Abuja-Kaduna express road. Similarly, Yahaya Musa, a suspect, was detained on Sunday, October 16, near Tashar Yari in Kaduna with more than 30,000 tablets of tramadol, diazepam, and exol-5.
In Akwa Ibom state, operatives raided the Marina Market, Eket, where quantities of illicit substances along with N1,193.060 cash and N849,000.00 fake currency were recovered from fleeing suspects. In Bauchi, a suspect, Ogbonna Ikechukwu, was arrested at Gadar Maiwa, Ningi LGA, with 67, 960 tablets of various types of psychotropic substances.
