The Generator Man and the Midnight NEPA

For one street for Lagos, NEPA took light for 3 days straight.
Everybody generator don drink fuel finish.

Only Baba Tunde get big sound generator. That one dey make _"krrraaa krrrraaa"_ like trailer.

Midnight, light came back. Whole street shouted _"UP NEPA!!"_
Baba Tunde smiled and switched off his generator.

5 minutes later... _pum_ Light went again.
Baba Tunde switched his generator back on. _"Krrraaa krrrraaa"_

This happened 6 times that night. On. Off. On. Off.
By 4am, Baba Tunde was tired.

Then his neighbor, Mama Blessing, knocked.
`"Baba, abeg make we contribute buy fuel. Your generator is saving us."`

Baba Tunde: _"No problem. But who go watch am so NEPA no go carry am?"_

Mama Blessing: _"Me. I no dey sleep again tonight."_

So they made a deal.
Baba Tunde provides generator. Street provides fuel + security.
They named it: *"Operation Cold Room"* because at least drinks and food for fridge won’t spoil.

2 weeks later, NEPA still bad.
But that street was the only one with light, cold water, and fans at night.
People from other streets started paying 500 naira to charge phone and sit under Baba’s fan.

Baba Tunde used the money to buy 2 more generators.
Today, he owns "Tunde Light Company". NEPA still hasn’t called him to say thank you 😂
