bulb progress
The BULB project (bulbapp.io) has been running for almost 5 years since its initial idea in September 2021. If viewed naturally, its journey resembles many small Web3 projects on Solana: starting with high enthusiasm around Write to Earn and Read to Earn.
What has been achieved?
The team has successfully built a truly functional platform. You can write articles/blogs, read, react, comment, and share, then earn rewards in the form of $BULB tokens every week. There is a mobile app on iOS & Android that is already live, features like BULBmoji NFT (spend to earn), Article NFT (you can mint articles as NFTs and trade them), weekly challenges, a leaderboard, and a reward pool that is still distributed regularly (for example, this week around 300 thousand BULB is being distributed to active users).
The community is still active, although on a small scale. Every week they post activity updates on X (@bulbappio), for example in April 2026: total interactions reached 2,185, reads 798, reacts 631. There are small partnerships (such as with moovexyz), and a staking feature used by users. This means the core product is still alive and people are still using it to write and earn rewards.
The $BULB token itself is priced around $0.000003 – $0.000015 (varies), with a market cap of only a few thousand dollars (around $3K–$5K), and liquidity (about $5K–$6K in the Raydium pool). This means that although the token can already be traded on Solana DEXs, there are still people holding it.
In my opinion, BULB is one of the most consistent Write to Earn projects in its niche. There is still a reward pool, burn mechanism, weekly distribution, and people who enjoy writing there. It is suitable for those who like blogging, want to experiment with content in Web3, or simply want to earn free tokens through daily activities without large capital. The concept of “engagement being directly paid” is still relevant, especially in the creator economy era.
Overall, BULB feels more like a slowly growing community experiment rather than a project aiming for a “moonshot.” If you enjoy writing and want to earn small rewards while waiting for potential future catalysts (such as listings or larger partnerships), it is still worth trying. But if the expectation is to quickly profit from the token (DYOR).
