Roads in Soygaon taluka, which is adjacent to the border of Marathwada-Khandesh constituency, are in a very poor condition. As none of the roads in the taluka are in good condition, the people of the area are facing a lot of hardship. The road works being carried out by the contractor are becoming substandard. The villagers have become aggressive due to deterioration of asphalting of the two roads from Jamthi to Rawala and Jamthi to Pimpla. It has been demanded that an inquiry should be made.

From Jamthi to Pimpla in the taluka the work of 800 meters of road and six kilometers of road from Jamthi to Rawala is in progress. Gravel has been laid on the road without any cleaning of the road without putting asphalt. As the asphalting of these roads is of poor quality, the villagers have become aggressive due to the fear of the roads being washed away during monsoons. Not a single officer or engineer of the Public Works Department is even walking around to work on this road. Due to their neglect, the work of these roads is deteriorating. Villagers Charan Singh Naik, Vijay Rathod, Atmaram Pawar of Jamthi have demanded that the officials of Public Works Department visit the works and investigate. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Marathwada in the wake of the cyclone.
