The 10k Data Bundle
Tunde was broke. Like _“garri and sugar for dinner”_ broke.
But his phone was ringing: job interview on Zoom tomorrow.
His last 10k was meant for food and transport.
Then his friend posted: _"Get 200GB data for 10k only! DM now. Fast delivery."_
Tunde DM’d. The guy replied instantly. Sent account number.
`"Send 10k, I go activate in 5 minutes."`
Tunde sighed, prayed, and sent it.
5 minutes... 30 minutes... 2 hours...
Guy blocked him. Page deleted.
Tunde wanted to cry. Interview was 9am.
That night his aunty called: `"Tunde, my office needs someone to cover for 2 weeks. 50k. You fit do am?"`
He said yes.
He borrowed 1k from neighbor, bought small data, and killed the interview.
Got the job. First salary: 120k.
One month later, EFCC posted the scam page.
They caught the guy. He had duped 60 people with that “200GB for 10k”.
Tunde didn’t get his 10k back.
But he said: _"That 10k was the most expensive lesson and the cheapest blessing I’ve ever paid for.
If I hadn’t lost it, I wouldn’t have been desperate enough to say yes to Aunty’s job."_
_Moral: Sometimes God allows the loss to push you to the open door._
