THE TAILOR AND THE GHOST
In Lagos, there was a tailor named Mr. Johnson. He was the best tailor in the area. But he had one problem - he never delivered clothes on time.
One day, a man came to sew Agbada for wedding on Saturday. Mr. Johnson said, "Come on Friday, it will be ready."
Friday came, cloth no ready. Saturday came, cloth no ready. The man missed his wedding with that Agbada. He was very angry.
He cursed Mr. Johnson: "You will sew for ghost if you don't change!"
Mr. Johnson laughed.
That night, around 12am, Mr. Johnson was still in shop, sewing. Nepa took light. He lit candle.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.
Mr. Johnson: "Who is that by this time?"
A voice: "Tailor, I want to sew cloth."
Mr. Johnson opened door. A man stood there, very tall, face white like chalk, no shoes. He gave Mr. Johnson black cloth.
Man: "Sew this for me. I need it tomorrow. Do not disappoint me."
Mr. Johnson was shaking, but he took the cloth. He sewed all night. He finished by 4am.
Next night, same man came, took cloth, paid Mr. Johnson with old, old Naira notes from 1970.
Mr. Johnson went to market next morning to spend the money. Market woman looked at money and screamed: "This is money from grave! Where did you get it?"
Mr. Johnson ran back to shop. The man was waiting there.
Man said: "Thank you. You delivered on time. If you can deliver on time for ghosts, why not for humans?"
Since that day, Mr. Johnson never delays anybody's cloth again.
Moral: If ghost fit make you change, human being for don make you change since.
