Hunted! - Week 1 Review

In my previous post on bulb Hunted! Reality TV or Something More, I provided an overview of the HUNTED TV series. Below is a brief recap so you are aware of what is going on.
18 fugitives are on the run in Melbourne, Australia from a team of cybersecurity experts, Forensic Psychologists, Australian Federal Police, Defence, British Intelligence, and investigation experts who are seeking to identify and apprehend the fugitives over the next 3 weeks (21 days). These people are the Hunters.
The 18 fugitives are in 9 groups of 2 all trying to evade authorities for a chance to win a share of $100k. The 9 teams include:
- Jake and Rob
- Angie and Michelle
- Puneet and Kris
- Erina-Lea and Jess
- Derek and Courtney
- Stathi, and Matt
- Nicholas and Lavinia
- Karen and Brittany
- Sonny-Joe and Grace
After week 1 or the equivalent of three days on the run there are a total of 14 fugitives still evading capture with 4 currently captured.
Angie and Michelle were captured first after staying with a friend. They may have got away as their frien drove out of her premises that was under surveillance, the car was being tracked by authorities. Their downfall was when they noticed their friends car, that was being tracked, and went out to get in walking straight into the Hunters. Each running in opposite
directions one was caught and the other soon after, when notes of a potential location and cameras caught her in a friends house
Erina-Lea and Jess were located via telematic data in a car in a caravan park, with the fugitives nervous the took refuge in a local family own and we’re spooked by the noise of drones in a nearby area and ran from the safety of their hideaway. The hunters and strong evidence they were in the area and in doing a sweep identified the fugitives in the open. The chase was on and they were Captured very shorty after.
The remaining fugitives are still on the run undertaking their own strategies , some trying to outsmart, provide false or misleading information and other remaining totally of the radar.
