THE MAN WHO CARRIED GOAT AT NIGHT

In Ibadan, a man called Baba Lekan was walking home at 1am. He was drunk small.

On the road, he saw a fine white goat. Very fat. No owner.

Baba Lekan said, "Ahn ahn! God has blessed me! Christmas don come early!"

He carried goat on shoulder and was going home, singing.

Goat was very quiet. Too quiet.

As he was walking, he met a night guard.

Night guard said: "Baba Lekan, good evening. What are you carrying?"

Baba Lekan: "I see goat, I carry am."

Guard shone torch on his shoulder.

There was no goat. It was a big black coffin wood.

Baba Lekan shouted! He threw it away and ran.

He ran to house, breathing fast. He knocked, his wife opened.

Wife: "What happened?"

Baba Lekan: "I carried goat, it turn to coffin!"

Wife looked behind him. The goat was following him. Standing at door.

Goat opened mouth and said in human voice: "You did not finish carrying me. Why did you drop me?"

Baba Lekan fainted.

He woke up next morning in church. Pastor was pouring anointing oil on his head.

Since that day, Baba Lekan never walks at night again. And if he sees goat at night, he will shout, "I no see you o! Go your way!"

Moral: Not everything you see for road at night you go carry. Some blessings na test.
