India wake up call
It's time India wakes up and sees that the Modi government (BJP) just isn't capable of handling big stuff like this properly. They keep letting us down, and right now with the Strait of Hormuz situation, it's happening again.
People who think Iran gave special permission only to Indian tankers to cross โ you're wrong. A few days back some channels like NDTV and others screamed that Iran had "allowed" our ships safe passage after Jaishankar's talks. But the central government (MEA) clearly said no. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed the conversations happened and were about shipping safety and our energy security, then he said straight: "Beyond that, it would be premature for me to say anything." That means talks are still going on, nothing is final, no special deal is locked in.
Iranian sources also denied it completely. Reuters and others quoted them saying no such formal or special agreement exists for Indian tankers โ those claims are false. Yes, a couple of our LPG ships crossed later, but it wasn't some big exclusive win for BJP. Iran talked more about goodwill toward Indian people than praising our government.
This whole thing is embarrassing for the country. Godi media jumps in with fake victories, makes us look desperate and silly abroad, while our real energy needs are still at risk in this mess.
We had better leaders before โ Atal Bihari Vajpayee with his calm strength, Manmohan Singh who got things done quietly, APJ Abdul Kalam who inspired everyone. Today's lot, BJP or Congress, mostly do PR, hype, and drama instead of real work.
BJP is failing us badly here. We deserve way more than this bare minimum โ honest leadership, actual results, and respect on the world stage. Wake up India, stop buying the propaganda. We can and should do so much better. ๐ฎ๐ณ
