BCAAs

BCAAs are amino acids made up of leucine, valine and isoleucine, which are essential for the body, meaning they cannot be produced by the body itself and must therefore be supplied by the diet.

They are generally taken as supplements by body-builders or endurance athletes for recovery purposes, or during training sessions to provide a direct source of energy for longer, harder workouts.

BULLSHIT

There are 11 essential amino acids, and if they are not complete, the three mentioned above are ineffective.

What's more, a good diet (animal/vegetable proteins, eggs, legumes...) will provide your body with what it needs.

As you can see, apart from being taken in by salesmen and feeling a reduction in muscle soreness, which is certainly linked to the adaptation of your training or to a placebo effect, bcaa are useless.

So you might as well drink a sugary drink.

Thank you for reading.
