I fell in love I know I wasn't supposed to but I did. I'm a Christian, his Muslim but we found ourselves drawn to each other's kindness, compassion, and shared values of love and understanding.
Despite their different backgrounds, we embraced their similarities and celebrated their differences. we talked about everything and anything, he became my best friend and my protector, he was kind with his words and so respectful. our love story was a testament to the power of acceptance and respect. we navigated the challenges that came our way with open hearts and a commitment to building bridges between their communities.
Together, we embarked on a journey of mutual understanding, learning from each other's traditions, and celebrating both Christian and Muslim holidays. our love served as a beacon of hope, inspiring others to embrace unity and break down the barriers that divide us.
we planned on getting married and moving to start life elsewhere, everything was going so well. until we went to see his mum, she didn't buy the idea and asked him to choose between her and me.
deep down my heart I knew this day would come but I waved it away, I thought our love was enough.
So I chose for him, I left.
I didn't want to be the reason he never spoke with his family. I moved far away I cried for days but I knew it was for a good cost.I heard he got married to a Muslim girl,
I'm happy for him, as for me I'm yet to find the one.
