Discovering Avalanche: A Revolutionary Blockchain Consensus Model

Hello everyone,
Today, through my academic advisor at university, I had the opportunity to discover the project I am going to tell you about, and every line of the project drew me in even more. The main developer and the mastermind behind the project is Prof. Dr. Emin Gün Sirer from Cornell University. I've spent the last 3 days researching about him and reading the project's whitepaper.
Avalanche is emerging as a new consensus model, aiming to present a greener, more efficient, and safer blockchain structure. However, before delving into these aspects, I would like to briefly touch on Professor Emin's past work in this field.
Emin's conceptual development regarding blockchain technologies dates back well before Satoshi Nakamoto's paper in 2008. Starting to explore Peer-to-Peer (P2P) systems in the early 2000s, Emin proposed his first idea based on the logic of the first cryptocurrency in 2003.
