4 Years Building a Web3 Startup — Now I’m Homeless in Laos
Four years ago, I started building a project called Lachesis. It’s an AI system designed to protect people in crypto from scams. The idea is simple: analyze newly listed tokens in real time and detect potential rug pulls and frauds before people lose money.
I didn’t have investors. I didn’t have a safety net. Just belief in the idea and the willingness to risk everything I had.
I spent all my savings. Sold my belongings. Lived from one cheap country to another. First Turkey, then bouncing between places, and now… Laos.
Today, I’m homeless. Literally.
Some nights I sleep outside. On the street.
Sometimes I get lucky and a friend lets me crash on their floor for a night or two.
Food? I survive thanks to a friend from Singapore who brings me meals. Not money — actual food. Rice, noodles, whatever he can give. Without him, I wouldn’t even eat some days.
The internet here barely works. My servers crash because I can’t always pay for hosting.
Some days, the project website goes offline just because I don’t have $10 to cover the bill.
But Lachesis is still alive. I’m still pushing.
Still writing code on borrowed Wi-Fi.
Still answering investor messages with 1% battery left on my phone.
Still believing that this project can help people avoid losing money in crypto.
If you’ve ever wondered what it really takes to build a startup with zero safety net, no investors, and no privilege — this is it.
This is not a motivational post. This is survival.
And I’m not giving up.
