Israel asks Egyptian troops to leave Rafah border, will the two countries go to war?

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have allegedly informed Egypt of its intention to occupy the Rafah border region and asked the Egyptian army to evacuate the area.
The IDF informed Egypt of its intention to occupy the border area in the Rafa "Philadelphi" pass and called on the Egyptian army to clear the border.
The report also stated that the IDF stressed to Egypt that from now on, it will not be responsible for the security of Egyptian forces in the region when it seeks to occupy the border region and stressed that military operations in the region will continue whether Egypt agrees or rejects it.
Arab media also reported that the IDF fired shells at an area in southern Rafah. There were also reports of tanks and armoured vehicles operating west of the Kerem Shalom crossing.
