Reports suggest she was “sucker-punched” by a grown man during a violent brawl. Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge called it “cruel and unacceptable,” and five people have already been charged as of today, July 29, 2025.
Holly is a single mom, juggling work and family. She went out to celebrate a friend’s birthday,something we all do only to end up hospitalized with “pretty serious injuries” (per FOP President Ken Kober).
No police or ambulance was present initially, raising big questions about city safety.
This happened Friday night in a busy downtown area. A 2023 National Institute of Justice study found urban zones with reduced police presence see 15% more violent crime. Was this preventable? Vivek thinks so, and he’s pointing fingers at local leaders for the lack of response.
Vivek, a Cincinnati native and Trump-endorsed candidate, says Holly told him no official (beyond one detective) has reached out to her yet. He’s using this to push his campaign to empower cops to restore order “no apologies.” He plans to visit her soon as she recovers.
