Life without Opinions

Opinions, everybody seems to have one these days. The world would be much better if people kept their opinions to themselves, especially the 'stop eating meat people, animals have families too' people or vegans as they preferred to be called, or 'the earth is flat' people or assholes as they preferred to be called. The point I'm trying to make is that, we could achieve more as a species if we kept our opinions to ourselves.

The opinion paradox explains a lot, no need to google it, you won't find anything mostly because it's a word I just made up just now. I don't have a definition for it yet but I can tell you of a situation and you can draw your meaning out of it.

Say you have an opinion and I don't agree with it, so I tell you to keep it to yourself. Then I realize I should have kept my opinion of you keeping your opinion to yourself, to myself so there's no opinion to begin with, just the one you had in the first place... Opinion paradox. If you don't understand and you are of the opinion I'm making no sense, I suggest you keep it to yourself.

If you do and you passed third-grade English, help me drop a definition here, I'm trying to get it into the dictionary.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying opinions are completely useless. They can be valuable when used as a starting point for serious discussions like what to eat for dinner or how many pieces of chicken can I fit down my throat before I pass out, all I'm saying is, it's not every time your opinions should be heard, don't come telling me why you think Arsenal would finish first when we know they love to finish second.

Another thing to note is opinions are not facts, facts have logical backing, opinions are mostly useless, not all though, just the ones I don't agree with. If a rock is a rock, it can't be a paper no matter how much it thinks it's a paper, I think you know where I'm going with this.
It's cool we have our own thoughts, that's the only thing that separates us from the monkeys, that and the theory of evolution which is another popular opinion theorist and professional Santa Claus, Darwin should've kept to himself if you ask me, but you didn't.
