Stan the Snail

There once was a snail named Stan, Who loved to race, and have a grand plan.
He'd crawl and he'd slide, And never once did he hide, His determination, to win like a man.
This snail, he was slow, but he had heart, And his competitors, he'd always outsmart.
He'd leave them in the dust, And show them, he was a must, In the race, that always did start.
But one day, as he crawled along, He saw a turtle, who seemed so strong.
He challenged him to a race, And soon they both did brace, For a showdown, that wasn't so wrong.
They started off slow, but then they sped up, And soon they both were in a close-up.
They crawled and they slithered, And then they both did wither, And collapsed, with a hiccup.
But then they got up, with a smile, And they both won, without any denial.
They knew it wasn't about speed, But the journey, and the need, To have fun, and just be worthwhile.
So if you're ever feeling stuck, my friend, Just remember the snail, and how he'd tend.
To race and to play, And find joy, every day, And be happy, until the very end!
