*The Student and the Empty Notebook*
There was a 200L student named Tunde. Every semester, he’d buy new textbooks, download past questions, and promise himself “This time, I’ll read from week 1.”
But by week 8, his notebook was still empty.
He’d tell himself: _“I’ll start tomorrow. I’ll pray about it. I’ll wait for motivation.”_
One day his tutor, Sir Wave, called him after class and said:
“Tunde, motivation won’t write that exam for you. The notebook is empty because _you_ are waiting for the perfect time. But the exam doesn’t wait.”
Tunde got angry at first. But that night, he opened one page.
Just one. He wrote the heading, solved 3 questions, and closed it.
The next day, he did the same.
By exam week, his notebook wasn’t empty anymore.
He didn’t get first class, but he passed without carryover. And for the first time, he felt proud when his parents asked, “How was it?”
*Moral:*
You don’t need a perfect plan or perfect mood to start. You just need one page.
The person you want to become is built one page at a time.
