HEAT ENGINE AND IT'S TYPES

Heat engine is a device which convents thermal chemical substances energy received from combustion of term as in to mechanical energy . fuer This mechanical energy further utilised as usefull work .

In thermodynamics and engineering, a heat engine is a system that converts heat to mechanical energy, which can then be used to do mechanical work. It does this by bringing a working substance from a higher state temperature to a lower state temperature.

Basically , heat engine are of two types
1. External combustion engine ( Ec engine )
2. Internal combustion engine . ( Ic engine )


1. External combustion engine-
External combustion engine are those , heat engine in which combustion of funt takes places outside the cylinder piston assembly . Ex - stream engine
2. Internal combustion engine -
Internal combustion engine are those engine in which combustion of fuel takes place within a cylindas piston assembly . Examples are automobile engine , aeroplane engine ( activa engine)
