From Sign Up To Virtual Word: Your Journey Starts with Rosen
Cryptocurrency platforms can be risky due to market volatility and lack of regulation. Use reputable platforms, avoid emotional trading, and only invest what you can afford to lose. Be cautious and remember, not your keys, not your crypto.
When you look at the crypto space and the current market, it looks pretty different from how it did just one year ago. While Solana has been controversial at times, the shift in token price and on-chain activity has been huge and there have been many airdrops and hot projects to help draw money away from Ethereum and into Solana.
One of the biggest benefits we’ve seen from this influx of attention has been the assortment of different projects that we’ve seen launched on SOL. When the prices were low, builders kept building and the results of this can be seen in the myriad of different applications and services that are now powered by Solana.
An interesting concept that’s come to life during this process has been the concept of Web 3 based social media platforms. Covering everything from short-form social media posts to blogging and text-based platforms, Web 3 Social is trying to turn the world of online monetization away from large corporations and billionaires by returning power to the people.
Some platforms have tried to do this, by partly rebranding the Web 2 concept with Web 3 initiatives while others have gone all in on the concept by providing apps and services that are unique to the world of Web 3. We’ll be exploring one of these applications today. Known as Rosen, it provides multiple Web 3 features into a single platform and it aims to streamline the onboarding of newcomers into the world of Web 3.
Note: You can follow Rosen’s regional-specific ambassadors for more information, or telegram users can search for the Rosen regional telegram channels.
Getting Started
It’s worth mentioning that while Rosen is a Web 3 based app, in the interests of keeping with its onboarding ethos, it looks a little different to your typical Web 3 social app. While we can (and will) pair a crypto wallet at a later stage, you won’t need this while you are working through the signup stage.
Because of this, getting started is incredibly simple, with apps available in the Apple App Store
while Android users can also find it in the Play Store.
Once you’re done, the signup process is straightforward. While you can use your Google/Apple account for signing up, privacy-focused users can use an email of their choice.
Entering The Metaverse
Once you’re done, you’ll enter Rosen’s Metaverse. While here, we’ll be able to play games, mint NFT’s, and mine energy which can be redeemed for various things within the app. We’ll be exploring these functions in greater detail in a future article. For now, one thing that we can do is bind our crypto wallet so that we’re able to claim rewards and send crypto to/from the app.
To do this, we’ll go to the “Me” menu in the Rosen mobile app.

Then we’ll go to the wallet section

We’ll then need to select a wallet to bind. If you aren’t on-chain yet, Phantom is a great choice. If you already have a wallet, you can bind any Solana, Polygon, or BSC-compatible wallet.

Once it’s done, we’ll sign our transaction. Once the transaction is finalized, our nominated wallet is ready for transaction within the Rosen app.
There are plenty of features to explore but one of our favs is the live translate feature that allows you to communicate with international users in the language of your choice, with no translator required. The app will take care of translation while you take care of the conversation. Language is less of a problem with this feature and it’s the first natural step toward making something truly global.
Help! I need somebody
When you sign up to test a Web 3 app or protocol, you’ll often need to be skilled at troubleshooting, as some projects will often provide little support beyond the getting started phase. Rosen is not one of those projects. One of the things that has been carefully put together to assist newcomers is their ambassador program.
With a global footprint, regardless of where you are in the world, you’ll find an ambassador close by to assist you in solving any issues that you might encounter while using the app. The ambassadors use a special avatar to keep them visible on the map, so to get help you’ll simply need to jump on the map and look for the avatar that’s nearby

Once you’ve found them, simply send them a message via the app requesting support.
If you’re in Latin America, you’ll find resources designed especially for you. Check out the Rosen Linktree to find a regional WhatsApp chat and other resources to help you get started.
The Last Word
In our next article, we’ll be exploring some of the functionality of the app in greater detail, helping you optimize your metaverse experience. We’ll also be looking at how you can earn a share of monthly stablecoin rewards by regularly using and engaging with the app.
Don’t forget to follow the Rosen team on the platform of your choice for all the latest releases and information regarding rewards and updates to the Rosen app.
