Lesson Of Success !

An eight-year-old boy came to visit his grandfather in the village during summer holidays. One day he was very happy, he came jumping to his grandfather and said with great pride, “When I grow up, I will become a very successful Asami.” Can you give me some tips to be successful?”

Grandfather nodded 'yes', and without saying anything he took the boy's hand and took him to a nearby nursery. Going there, grandfather bought two small saplings and returned home. After returning, he planted one plant outside the house and another plant in a pot and kept it inside the house. “Which of these two plants do you think will be more successful in the future?”, grandfather asked the boy.

The boy kept thinking for a few moments and then said, “The plant inside the house will be more successful because it is safe from every danger whereas the plant outside is in danger from strong sunlight, storm, water, and even animals…” Grandfather said, “Let's see what happens next!”, and he picked up the newspaper and started reading. After a few days, the holidays ended and the boy went back to the city.

Meanwhile, grandfather continued paying equal attention to both the plants and time passed. After 3-4 years, once again he came to visit the village with his parents and on seeing his grandfather he said, “Grandfather, last time I had asked you for some tips to be successful but you did not tell me anything…but this time You will definitely have to tell me something.”

Grandfather smiled and took the boy to the place where he had planted the plant in a pot. Now that plant had turned into a beautiful tree. The boy said, “See Grandfather, I told you that this plant will be more successful…” “Hey, first see the condition of the plant outside…”, and saying this, Grandfather took the boy outside.

A huge tree stood proudly outside! Its branches were spread far and the passers-by standing in its shade were talking comfortably. “Now tell me which plant was more successful?”, asked grandfather. “…b…b…the one outside!…but how is this possible, he must have faced so many dangers outside…yet…”, the boy said in surprise.

Grandfather smiled and said, “Yes, but facing challenges also has its rewards. Friends, God has created us to live a meaningful life. But unfortunately, most people live in fear and are never able to realize their full potential. Leave this useless fear behind… The real fun of living life is only when you are able to do everything that you can do… otherwise anyone can manage to earn two meals a day…
