Recent Updates
Grass Network is making good progress; recently, they announced an in-house AI data model called Socrates. It contains over a terabyte of data from philosophy forums and other websites, achieved by utilizing their network to extract data from forums and websites dating back 15 years. This data can be used for open-source AI projects to train Large Language Models (LLMs). Until now, it has been challenging for small-scale AI projects to access data models from search engine giants like Google and Microsoft.
Grass Network plans to further expand this AI model to crawl and index the entire web, enabling any organization or individual to develop AI. This initiative aims to democratize access to valuable data resources for the AI community.

My Experience
I have recently installed the Grass Chrome plugin and have been keeping my system turned on 24/7 to allow the plugin to run and accumulate as many points as possible. In 15 days, it has earned 40k points. So far, I have not noticed any system performance or internet bandwidth issues. It appears to be very light and has minimal impact on system resource utilization.

At this point, I am unsure about the potential passive income it will generate in the future—ranging from $0 to $100 per month, dependent on project success and potential revenue. Keeping the system turned on does not appear to be a significant investment. On the other hand, competing with search engine tech giants will not be an easy task for Grass Network. If the project becomes successful, it could serve as an asset for earning passive income.
If you are interested in giving it a try, please feel free to use my referral for a 5000 points reward upon reaching 100 hours of uptime.
