Angelina Jolie: A Glimpse into Her Benevolent Heart.

Childhood Fantasies.
As a child, one of my many fantasies was to invent a machine to determine the level of purity and benevolence in a person’s heart. The heart's worth is quite immeasurable. It’s my wish that a genius invents this kind of a machine someday.
                                                     Broken but it is alright.
My memory is still very green about how my entire world collapsed and stood still for three months. How did it happen? I and my step-mum went to the market to buy some food stuff and a woman she knew walked up to us and asked: ‘This is such a fine boy, is he your son?’ My step-mum replied: ‘No off course, he is my husband’s son’. I got a heart break, felt humiliated and betrayed. I had looked up to her as my own mother and wanted a replacement for my biological mother.
                                                          An Ocean of Love.
It takes an exceptionally broad pure heart to accept another woman’s child as one’s own without pretense. Angelina Jolie is a rare species in our world today. She is an ocean of true love without any compromise.
                                                          A Family of nations.
Angelina Jolie’s children are from Cambodia, Vietnam, Africa and the United States of America. Maddox was from Cambodia, Pax from Vietnam, Zahara from Ethiopia and the remaining three are her biological children. Angelina Jolie’s family is a prototype of the United Nations. One must have a benevolent heart to overcome the barriers of race and class and accept others as one’s own.
                                                           Benevolence in action.
Charity begins at home, so goes an old maxim. Angelina Jolie’s benevolence started right in her home. Her philanthropic activities are seen in Cambodia and other parts of the world. Despite her wealth and fame, Angelina Jolie is an epitome of humility; her willingness and love towards the world’s poorest is worthy of emulation.

Angelina Jolie Voight was born on June 4 1975 in Los Angeles. She is a humanitarian cum actress and film maker with many awards. A lot has been written about her in the media. During an IELTS speaking test on the 29 June 2019, the examiner asked me: ‘who is your most favorite actress and why’? The answer I gave her became the inspiration for this post.
                                                              Voice of reason.
Life is not a bed of roses. There are many out there in the world that needs your benevolence. You don’t have to be rich in order to be benevolent to others. Use what you have. It is normal to love our own but do you have what it takes to love a stranger without conditions? Benevolence speaks to us in different myriad ways. Friends, listen to its clarion call. And to you Angelina Jolie, continue with your good works!
