TikTok is not Selling

When i first heard that the US government is banning TikTok my first reaction was, they will either ban it or buy out the Chinese but knowing how China react to this kind of actions from America i doubt if they will sell it. But according to people who have knowledge about the case Chia will opt out of the USA and oblige to the ban then selling it to American investors. ByteDance places a high value on TikTok's algorithms and is reluctant to sell them. TikTok's algorithms, which determine the content you see and strive to keep you engaged with the platform, are widely recognized as the most effective compared to competitors like Instagram. Given that these algorithms are the primary driving force behind TikTok's popularity and value, it's understandable why ByteDance would be hesitant to relinquish them, another interesting bit of information surface about TikTok's presence in the US, TikTok's revenue from the United States isn't as significant as one might assume. According to reports, a shutdown of TikTok in the US would only have a "limited impact" on ByteDance's revenue. SO i guess ByteDance fulling out of US market is a wise decision, is it really true? Market Penetration: US does not register in terms of Market Penetration
Year-over-Year Growth: In terms of market growth, US again did not register
Top TikTok Creators and Millionaires: There are more American top Tiktok content creators and millionaires according to latest data available (2021 and 2024)
Conclusion
Market-wise the banning of TikTok by the US government will have no effect to it's stockholders and owners only the US user's will suffer from this ban, ironically there are more American top TikTok content creators and millionaires than the rest of the world, i guess this is also the reason why there are more pushback from American TikTok user's from this ban.
