Strategizing my plans
I discussed different body types in my last blog, and I'm in the category of Endomorphs.
Endomorphs tend to gain weight more than the other body types, even when placed on the same diets as other body types, an endomorph tends to hold on to more fat. Well, I'm not blaming body types for the reason of getting fat. I'm guilty of having a poor diet (basically eating a lot of junk food and leaving a sedentary lifestyle).
The Caveman Diet or The Paleo Diet, allows you to eat only those foods that humans ate when they first roamed the planet about 2.5 million years ago.
For starters, to be and stay healthy on the paleo diet, Dr. Cordain says that you’ll need to exercise regularly while following a strict diet comprised only of foods that can be hunted and gathered... LOL, I'm going hunting guys.
Being on the paleo diet, you’ll find fewer processed foods and more fruits and veggies. Based on the range of food I have available, I will focus on food that I should avoid.
List of Food to Avoid
All dairy products: including milk, cheese, yogurt, and butter
Cereal grains: such as wheat, rye, rice, and barley
Legumes: like beans, peanuts, and peas
Potatoes (and even sweet potatoes... sad)
Sweets, including all forms of candy as well as honey and sugar
Sugary soft drinks and fruit juices
Highly processed foods and meats like hot dog.
