Community Testing for the Metis Decentralized Sequencer: IMPORTANT
Hello everyone, friends. Today, we will participate in a testnet that we think is a simple but important testnet.
- First, let's add the network to our wallet.
- Network Name: Metis
- Sepolia Network: URL https://sepolia.rpc.metisdevops.link
- Chain ID: 59901
- Currency symbol: METIS
Actually, it is a classic platform testnet and we will try a few different dapps in it.
First of all, we connect our test wallet and get our test tokens. Afterwards, be sure to try every part on the platform, see and act.
After clicking on the “Claim” button, you will be redirected to a Telegram bot. Click on the "Start" button to begin the process, and you will receive a message in Telegram confirming that the tokens have been sent successfully to your wallet (see image below).
Step 4 - Go through every one of the participating dApps, and complete all the eligible actions to earn points!
After selecting a dApp, you will find instructions on how to earn XP points and the number of XP points you will receive for each milestone completed. From there, you can enjoy your testing journey.
Once you have finished all the milestones, your XP points will be updated automatically.
Step 4 - Earn extra points by sharing on X and invite your friends to Community Testing!
When you click on "Boost Your Score Sharing On X", a pop-up window will appear showing details about the task and the points you will receive for completing this task. Finally, hit the "Post" button to receive an additional 5,000 XP.
How can you earn the rewards from participating in this program?
By completing the different actions for each DApp, participants will immediately start earning points (XP)! Different actions will offer different amounts of points. There will be some elements to consider: Repeated Actions and Boosters.
Repeated Actions
For repeated actions, the amount of points that participants receive for completing that action will decrease by 25%. Participants are encouraged to finish all actions across all participant DApps, since the first completions will always be the ones with the highest scores.
Boosters
Boosters will be riddles/questions that will give a boost in points to the first participants to answer correctly. These boosters will be shared from the Metis official X handle. Completing activities will increase your score and thus increase your chances of winning more rewards. So, make sure to turn notifications on!
Remember to claim your Testnet Tokens as early as possible! It will allow you to start Community Testing with a higher Testnet USD value, and if your points are low at the end, but your Testnet USD value is higher, they will be swapped and you will end up with the higher value as your score!
