Why We’re Using Portrait as Our Main Web Home (and Why It Matters in Web3)
One question I keep coming back to in crypto is this: If Web3 is about ownership, decentralisation, and permissionless access… why do so many projects still present themselves through very Web2 tools?
That question is exactly what led us to Portrait as our main web home.
Portrait isn’t just another link-in-bio product. It’s a decentralised, permissionless way to create a simple homepage that actually fits the ethos of crypto. No central authority deciding what stays up or comes down, no unnecessary lock-ins — just a clean, composable hub that you control.
For us, using Portrait means having a single place where people can understand who we are, what we’re building, and how to connect with us — without relying on platforms that don’t share the same values as the space we’re building in.
It also lowers friction. Instead of scattering links across different platforms, Portrait becomes a clear starting point. Simple for newcomers, familiar for crypto natives, and aligned with the broader Web3 movement.
We believe tools matter. The infrastructure you choose says a lot about what you stand for. That’s why Portrait felt like a natural fit for us, and why we think more crypto teams should at least explore it as an alternative to traditional link hubs.
If you care about ownership, decentralisation, and presenting your project in a way that truly reflects Web3 values, Portrait is worth a serious look.
