Web3 project common take
Every Web3 project says the same thing.
“We’re solving a problem.”
“We’re building for the community.”
“We’re creating value.”
But sometimes I sit back and ask myself a simple question:
What problem are we actually solving?
Because when you dig deeper, many of these projects aren’t really solving the problem they claim to solve.
📍 They say “social tasks should be free and open.”
But when you explore the platform, there’s a fee somewhere.
📍 They say “this token is for the community.”
But the supply is controlled by a few wallets.
📍 They say “we burned supply for the people.”
But the same people can mint more tomorrow.
So again I ask:
What exactly are we building?
Sometimes it feels like Web3 is repeating the same marketing lines over and over again.
“Utility.”
“Community.”
“Decentralization.”
But real utility is not a slogan.
Real community is not a Discord server.
And decentralization is not just written in a whitepaper.
The truth is, Web3 still has incredible potential.
But potential only matters when builders are honest about the problems they’re solving.
Not hype.
Not narratives.
Just real solutions for real people.
Maybe the future of Web3 won’t come from the loudest projects.
Maybe it will come from the ones quietly building something that actually works.
And when that happens, we won’t need big marketing words anymore.
The product will speak for itself.
