Thoughts on education

Like the average person, we have all been through school/university/college/Tafe and we have seen the ups and downs of education, especially when it comes to "boring" subjects, or subjects that aren't relevant to us. This is more typically prominent in Highschool, as you have less freedom in what you choose to study. Once you get into Tafe, university or college, you have a lot more freedom in what you choose to study, and there is a reason for this. Students should be picking a course they are truly interested in. I know for a large chunk of people, they will pick a course that has the best path to an ideal career for the sake of income and/or prestige. This is an okay choice to do if you are purely money driven, however I don't believe most people should go by this idea. I think it is upmost important to choose something you are really passionate about, and give it your everything in your studies, and turn it into something you can pursue as a career. If what you chose is not seemingly as delightful and intriguing as you'd hoped, there is nothing wrong with switching courses to find something you're passionate about.

Overall, no matter what you're doing, if it is something you're truly passionate about, you can turn it into everything as long as you're dedicated, and that is what I firmly believe everyone should do! <3
