Bitcoin nears 100K now I have to go away

Good morning/evening
 
So I have got myself into a bit of a quandary, it is good and bad at the same time.
 

 
So what is this quandary? Well, my parents and most of the family live in the UK and there is a milestone birthday coming up for my mother so there is a group of them going away on holiday together, that much my mother knows about. What she does not know about is a larger group of family members that are all planning their trip to the same place and hotel as a surprise. We have been asked by my sister (who is organising the surprise bit) if we would also go on this trip. It would be more difficult for us to arrange but not the end of the world, but it is the location.
 
Now this in itself sounds like a great thing to do and it probably would be, BUT the trip is somewhere that I would never ever choose to go to and our wishlist location of choice is Japan, we all really want to go to Japan but I understand a whole load of family members can't travel that far and I would not expect them too, I guess what I am trying to get at is that if I was going to spend a load of money on a trip that would be the one.
 
They are going to Benidorm.
 

I am pretty sure we are in not staying at the classy area lol.

Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with Benidorm, it is just not my thing so we were oohing and arring about this and it would be understandable if we were unable to go. Between ourselves we decided that if BTC went to 100K we would bite the bullet and go.......Which at the time seemed like it was a long, long way off!
 

 
 
I know we are not quite there (well not at the time of writing anyway, but we have hit 99K and well in my opinion it is only a matter of time, be it a day or a week or 2) But we have stuck to our word and are booking a trip, to a place we really don't want to go to, using profits from our BTC that would have gone towards a trip to Japan. Perhaps Bitcoin will soar more than I can imagine and we will end up going to Japan at some point too.
 
I also realise we are very fortunate to be able to go on any trip, there are many that can't and I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I also hope Benidorm isn't full of drunk Brits getting plastered after eating their 'Full English breakfast' or 'Sunday roast' which is how I envisage it. Also if that is someone's idea of a good time so be it, but I am of an age where a Nokia 3210 was a great phone and my idea of a great time is exploring a different culture, enjoying the cuisine with a glass of wine, watching the sun set or exploring the nature and a good spa, now that is my idea of a good time.
 
Hopefully there will be time on this trip for us to explore a nicer side of Benidorm than the one I read about, everywhere has good points and bad points. Here in Bulgaria we have our own 'Sunny beach' that is full of drunks and sex shops but we also have little coastal villages that are stunning and unspoilt, coastal resorts that are great but without all the tackiness and tat.
 
PERHAPS I AM JUST OLD LOL!
 
What are your thoughts? Would you go somewhere that does not appeal to you? Perhaps you live in Spain and Benidorm is quite nice.
