King and young man

Once upon a time there was a country who was ruled by his king. But the thing was that the king has no son or daughter who will rule the country after him. With the time the king was getting too old he wanted to select a suitable successor for the throne. So he decided to choose a successor from his country. So he sent out the notices to every part of the country. The notice was to invite every qualified young man in the country for an interview with the king. And the results of the interview will decide the next king. The only qualifications that king wanted to be in his successor is to be a kind hearted man and should love there fellow human beings. Every young man was very excited at the possibility of being ruler of the country.
A poor young man in the village also read the notice and started to prepare for the interview. The man was a kind and a hard working man but he was very poor due to some reasons. He has also not good clothes to wear for the interview with the king. So he started to work to earn money to buy new clothes and supplies which will support him in the journey to the palace.
After getting new clothes and supplies he started his journey and travelled to so many and finally reaches near the palace. Before going to the palace he sees a beggar by the side of road, the poor beggar was trembling i the cold and was covered by damaged clothes.
The beggar asked the young man for the help beggar said " i m hungry and cold please help me sir " . So the young man decided to give his clothes and supplies to the beggar which he was going to wear for the interview. Beggar thanked him.
Since Young man gave his new clothes to beggar he was hesitating to go for the interview. So finally he decided to go to the palace for interview in his old and dirty clothes. After reaching the palace he was little bit surprised that the king was looking similar to the beggar which he gave his clothes. Then the young man was called by king for interview. King said " Yes i was the beggar which you met on your way " Man asked "but why you dressed up like the beggar" ? You are a king . Why did you do this to me . King said because i had to be sure that you have a good heart and love your fellow human beings. Doing anything without expecting anything in return is the sign of the good heart. Looking at your love towards beggar proved that you sincerely love you fellow human beings said the king . Then king made him the ruler of the country

Be kind and humble to everyone .
A king might be rich and glamorous, might be powerful, but his kingdom is worthless, compared to a rich heart of a beggarman.
