The Night Guard and The CCTV👮♂️📹
Mr. Musa was night guard at a bank in Lekki. 12am - 6am shift.
Boring work. Just him, torchlight, and CCTV monitors.
One night around 2am, rain was falling heavy. Light went. Generator on.
Musa was watching CCTV. 8 screens.
On screen 4 - the ATM lobby - he saw something.
A woman in white gown. Walking slowly. No shoes. Hair covering her face.
She stood in front of the ATM and started pressing buttons.
Musa grabbed his torch. `Who’s there?!`
No answer. He checked the door. Locked. No one entered.
He ran back to CCTV. She was still there. Pressing.
Then she turned slowly to the camera... and smiled. Mouth full of blood.
Musa screamed and fainted.
Morning came. Day guard met him on the floor.
They played back the CCTV.
Screen 4: 2am - 5am... empty. Nothing. No woman.
Just Musa talking to himself and falling.
Manager called police. Checked records.
3 years ago, a woman was killed at that same ATM. Robbers. 2am.
They never caught the killers.
From that day, Musa refused night shift.
New guards say sometimes around 2am, ATM lobby camera will glitch for 3 minutes.
And when it comes back, there’s always wet footprints leading from the ATM to the door.
*Moral:* Some places hold memories that CCTV cannot delete.
