February Update
Hey everyone. I haven't posted for awhile but a lot has changed in a few short months. I think I write here not only to share my experiences but also to release my burdens and pain. I've never kept a journal or decided to write when I found myself faced with difficulties, but right now, it just feels good to write. I apologize ahead of time for dumping my emotional bags on you lol.
I mentioned in prior posts how I had moved back home to Michigan so my family could meet my son. My wife also needed better health care. To make a very long story short, this turned out to be a mistake. My father & siblings made it very clear on numerous occasions they want me gone & ultimately this is not a safe place for my wife & son to live as unfortunately they were the ones mostly affected. (My father & sister physically attacked her and threatened her while I was at work. She is ok, mostly just anxious and ready to leave now)
They expect to take ownership of my mother's house & see me returning as a threat. I had no intentions to stay here long term either, my goal was to stay long enough to find a house in a nearby neighborhood. I wanted to be near my mom & help her out. Due to the toxicity that has been brewing here, the dependent relationship she's developed with my sister, & an inability to solve these issues, that is not happening unfortunately, after this incident were moving to NC to spend some time with my wife's family & get on our feet over there. All that matters is keeping my family safe. Im mostly disappointed because my mother is affected, my wife & son are affected & none of this is really their fault. Although this is sad for me I know it is for the best.
I'm looking forward to seeing my wife's family though & this is no unfamiliar area, I have no doubts I will find work quickly once I get to NC. (When I informed my boss that I needed to move, a transfer was unfortunately off of the table 🙄)
I'm fairly optimistic despite life changing abruptly, that my wife & son will be happier & opportunities will follow me.

There is a silver lining despite all of this though. $NomadLands has continued to grow & our floor price slowly but surely continues to rise. This seems to be a simple recipe , by sharing 40% of my profits with my community & engaging in polls regularly, investors find value in what im creating. 👌
Our DAO has gained over 20 more members since my last post as well.

Each month Hodlers our our Creator Coins/NFTs/DAOTokens will receive an airdrop of 10k tokens for the remainder of 2024 🔥 (Distribution is weighted on % of ownership in $NomadLands)
Our seed round is currently open until summer of 2024, however I plan to extend our deadline until our funding goal is met.
Goals of our seed round as follows:
●Raise $5000
•40% of funds will be distributed fairly amongst hodlers based on % of ownership in $NomadLands (this airdrop is intended to bolster community support & ensure my investors are happy moving forward)
•10% of funds will be used to purchase our Creator Coin 🪙 This fund will be used for a $NomadLands CC Hodler staking fund ✔️ (approx 1 yr of modest staking rewards)
• 10% of funds to be designated for CC price stability in the event a whale dumps their 🪙 (this is basically a safety mechanism to ensure our majority of our investors aren't deeply affected by price fluctuations.)
• 10% designated to a marketing campaign (upon the launch of $FOCUS pay to promote will be an option. This fund will be used to market $NomadLands and remain a relevant/hot project when all of the noise shows up to a new socialfi dapp launch)
• 30% will be for personal use (mostly equipment & software upgrades)

I also finally reached a conclusion on what to do with all of my prior designs from failed projects & ideas. I recently discovered threadless while searching for new ways to monetize from my content. Threadless allows artists to sell their custom designs on apparel & accessories.
I officially have my own online store where my designs can be purchased in a wide variety of options. (T-Shirts, Jackets, Hoodies, Bags, Rugs, Bedding, Shower Curtains, kids clothing, Skateboards, Phone Cases ect.) The list really goes on. I will be going through my entire backlog of designs so expect plenty of new options to flood my website soon!
