*Morning discipline > motivation*

Most people wait to “feel motivated” before they start. The problem is, motivation is a visitor. It shows up late, leaves early, and never sends a text back.

Discipline is different. Discipline doesn’t care if it’s cold, if you’re tired, if no one’s watching. It shows up at 5 AM when the street is empty and the world is quiet. It shows up when your bed feels better than your goals.

I was reminded of this thinking about Cristiano Ronaldo. At 12 years old, while most kids were asleep, he was outside kicking a ball against a wall 500 times before school. No coach, no lights, no crowd. Just him and the habit. When people asked him years later why he always outworked everyone, he said: “I learned it at 5 AM, against a wall in Lisbon.”

That’s the point. Success isn’t built in the moments you post about. It’s built in the mornings no one sees. The reps you do when it’s boring. The choices you make when no one claps for you.

So today, don’t wait for motivation. Pick one thing you’ve been avoiding and do it for 20 minutes. No phone, no excuses. That’s 20 minutes closer than you were yesterday.

Talent gets you noticed. Discipline keeps you there.

If you’re working on something today, put “locked in” on your status. Let’s make it a product
