EVENING 🌆 TOO YOU ALL
Pearls of the Blessed Ramadan (19)!
The nineteenth day of the tafseer of this month of Ramadan (1447H/2026G) took place at Annoor Masjeed, Wuse 2, Abuja, and covered Suratun-Nisaa, Chapter 4, Verse 13 of the Noble Qur'an.
Allah says:
"These are the limits (set by) Allah (or ordainments as regards laws of inheritance), and whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success."
Major lessons to be learned are many. Among them are:
1) There are divine limits set by Allah. These limits are through divine messages.
2) The limits of Allah are generally divided into two: a) limits of obligation not to cross them (Baqara: 229), and b) limits of prohibition not to commit them (Baqara: 187).
3) Sharing of inheritance as stated in the Qur'an, Chapter 4: Verses 11 and 12 are among the limits of Allah that must be respected and complied with.
4) Obedience to Allah and His Messenger Muhammad (SAW) are obligatory and also the prerequisite of attaining paradise in the hereafter.
5) Allah has covenanted the Garden of Paradise to those who obey Him in this world. They will remain forever and ever in Paradise as there is no day to leave it.
6) The description of Paradise is beyond human imagination. In Paradise, Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever. (Zukhruf: 71).
7) The tafseer was also attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Dr Tajuddeen M. Abbas who also advised the congregation on making sure we use the Ramadan period and make our future better than our present. As we are aware, Ramadan is the period of self-improvement.
May Allah admit us unto Paradise along with our parents, wives, offspring, friends, and loved ones.
