Panchavati is the place in the Ramayana period where Lord Shri Ram stayed for a long time during his exile along with his brother Lakshman ji and mother Sita. Panchavati is a very ancient and world famous mythological place situated near Godavari river in Nashik district of Maharashtra. Which is directly related to Ramayana.

Panchvati is the same place where Laxman ji cut off the nose and ears of Shurpanakha. Lankapati Ravana had abducted Mother Sita from here. Panchavati is famous because of Ramayana.
