Lashana Lynch

Lashana Lynch, born on November 27, 1987, is a British actress acclaimed for her versatile performances across various film and television projects. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Rosaline Capulet in the ABC period drama series "Still Star-Crossed" in 2017. However, Lynch's breakout roles came in major blockbuster films, particularly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the James Bond franchise.


In the MCU, Lynch portrayed Maria Rambeau, a pivotal character in the superhero film "Captain Marvel" released in 2019. She reprised her role in subsequent MCU films, including "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" in 2022 and "The Marvels" in 2023. Continuing her impressive career trajectory, Lynch took on the role of an Earth-838 variant of Maria Rambeau in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (2022). In the same year, Lynch showcased her versatility by portraying veteran warrior Izogie in the historical epic "The Woman King."
