Numerous bodily changes occur throughout pregnancy. Other changes in your body's chemistry and function happen in addition to changes in weight and body form. Your heart beats faster, your body temperature rises a little, more body secretions are produced, your joints and ligaments are more flexible, and your hormone levels change.

A mix of hormonal changes, increased weariness, and typical anxiety about one's appearance, sexuality, finances, roles in marriage, and approaching parenthood frequently cause mood shifts.

Oestrogen, progesterone, and prolactin levels rise quickly during pregnancy to help your body nourish your developing fetus. Women may experience discomfort as a result of some of these hormonal changes at any point throughout pregnancy. The majority of these alterations are common and normally go away soon after delivery, if not sooner.

Various women may have different symptoms, and each woman's level of discomfort will differ. You can enquire about any symptoms you are having and ask your midwife for more details.
