Feels good to be back after a long while 🤭
If we go on a decent little run (even limit our mistakes), we qualify for Europa League easily, and that is a successful season in my book (at least for now, that's the best we can do).
If you hear someone say, that's mid talk, they are still living in 2021.
Different time, different ownership, different players, different project.
Plus, lack of experience, lack of chemistry between players, loads of injury situations to manage, and general atmosphere of chaos and negativity to deal with.
I hope we can finish 7th, though, that will solve a lot of our problems.
I don't think this squad is ready to compete in the Champions League yet.
Conference League could be alright and winning that competition would make us the only club in the world to have won it all, which is a great record to have.
But, I think the Europa League could be the next big step for us, a tough one for this young squad, but something that will elevate us to the next level, plus you also get the taste of playing in Europe (which a lot of players in our squad don't have at all).
I won't mind a Conference League spot, but I hope we are fighting for the Europa League spot.
However, in any case, I'd love it if we could get behind the team, support them through thick & thin.
We have won so much in the last 20 years, its time to stand behind the club now when the going is tough, this is what makes us a true supporter and make the good times even sweeter.
