My Psychologist Is Me: A Space To Learn, Grow And Heal From Within.

Tips, reflections and resources on how to take care of your mental health, improve your self-esteem and develop your potential. I do not intend to replace professional help, but rather to complement it and motivate you to be your own psychologist. I hope you like it and that it inspires you.

Dissocial people are people who present a persistent pattern of behavior in which the basic rights of others and the main social norms of age are transgressed. It is a mental disorder that appears in childhood and adolescence, and is related to aggressiveness, lack of empathy, rejection of society and failure to comply with the general rules of coexistence. They represent an important clinical problem due to their intrinsic characteristics, their possible consequences and their frequency. Many boys and girls who suffer from it show a deterioration in functioning at a social, academic and/or occupational level. Additionally, they may have difficulty establishing healthy and respectful emotional relationships with others.

However, dissocial problems are not only an individual problem, but also a social one. Society has the duty to offer these people the appropriate conditions for their personal and social development, as well as the necessary tools to regulate their impulses and express their emotions in a constructive way. The intervention should start from training for parents, education in values, promotion of inclusion and prevention of conflict.

Dissocial people are a challenge for coexistence, but also an opportunity to learn to respect diversity and build a more just and supportive society.
