"NO NEED TO PANIC YET"
But Emile Torres of Case Western Reserve University in Ohio said there was no need to panic just yet. He noted that such AI expert surveys do not have a good track record of predicting future AI developments. Compared to responses in the 2022 version of the same survey, many AI researchers predicted that the technology would reach certain milestones sooner than previously predicted.
