What Our Society Needs

In the twenty first century, life is much easier when compared to other centuries before ours. Due to this fact, we have gathered a high sense of satisfaction due to the fact that every thing we wish to do can be carried out easily we the use of technological devices. It is very pertinent that we do not take for granted how these things came to existence for they are product of curiosity.
Curiosity is truly the mother of innovation and invention. We can now fly using an airplane due to the fact that two brothers were very curious and kept asking themselves “ how will it feel like to fly like birds.” And they kept dreaming to make sure that it came true and today air transportation is the fastest mode of transportation.
Computer is now a machine that is making life very easy for us as it’s s multifaceted with programs to solve real life problems and hence make life easier. Yet, these are product of people’s sleepless nights.
Yes! Curiosity is the mother of invention. But it does not begin and end there. To be able to do the impossible, you must be prepared to go to the extreme. One thing that is common among these great inventors is that they were never satisfied with where they are. They kept learning, unlearning, and relearning and tried giving answers to questions that seemed impossible to be answered.
This is what is truly lacking in the people of this generation. They are so comfortable with what has been made possible by others and they fail to step out of this comfort zone to also bring out something that will make others comfortable. Television was invented for relaxation and not for a two-four-seven viewing. If you spend more than five hours chatting, which one will be left for reading and research.
It is also important to realize that no matter how comfortable life may seem now, they are still so many problems that need solution and that solution can only be obtained by stepping out of your comfort zones and asking questions as well as trying to provide answers to this question and not by spending your time resources on social media.
The youths of this generation needs to rise up and take responsibility. There is no need for you to accept all that you are told without verification. Teachers in various schools have grown lazy because the students are lazy. This is not suppose to be so. Things have been turned upside down and the only way to set things right is by taking responsibility and ensuring that we impact our society positively and not by carrying guns to take life.
Things can be made easier, faster and more better than it seems now if we are willing and backing our willingness with suitable actions of impacting positively in our society by changing our perspective of life as well as driving our curiosities to extremities. This is what the society needs – you and I to take a step out of our comfortable zones.
