Smart Fan

Shan Shan’s old electric fan breaks, so she heads to the appliance store to buy a replacement. There, she meets a charming and handsome wolf salesman who recommends the latest “smart fan” with voice control and a convenient mobile app. Convinced by his smooth pitch, she purchases it right away.  However, once she gets home, the fan refuses to respond to both the app and voice commands, no matter how many times she tries. Frustrated, Shan Shan vents to her friends over coffee and cupcakes. When one of them suggests returning the fan while it’s still under warranty, Shan Shan suddenly perks up — not because she wants a working fan, but because she now has the perfect excuse to see that handsome salesman again.  A lighthearted and relatable short comic about bad purchases, charming sales tactics, and a girl who might be falling for the salesman more than the product.
