One of the Turkish soldiers Rukneddin Baybars

His life reminds us of the great Turkish sultan Atabay Shamseddin Eldeniz, who united Iraq and most of Iran under his rule by establishing the magnificent state of Eldeniz in Azerbaijan. Shamseddin Eldeniz was also born in the steppes of Dashti Kipchak, which was once the homeland of the Turkic world and stretched from the Black Sea to the Great Wall of China. Then he was captured and taken to Iraq, and he passed an honorable path from an ordinary slave to the position of the head of state. Baybars suffered the same fate as him and left an honorable mark in the common Turkish history, going further than Eldeniz.

A lot has been written about him, probably they will write about him for many years to come. After Alparslan and Saladin Ayyubi, his name is mentioned as the most courageous commander and statesman in the Islamic world. He heroically coped with a task that many could not even dream of at that time, dealt a strong blow to the Mongol army, which was considered invincible, and gave them the first taste of defeat. However, until then, no one believed in the existence of a general who could deal heavy blows to the Mongols. But he was able to win this great victory and write his name among the famous generals of the world.

The real name of Baybars, the 4th sultan of the Mamluks, is Seyfeddin. It is assumed that he was born in Dashti Kipchak around 1223. He spent his childhood on horseback, like all nomadic Kipchak (the ancestors of today's Kazakhs) Turks. Even as a child, there was no one who could compete with him in riding a horse, playing with a sword, and shooting an arrow. But his childhood coincided with a very difficult period. One day, Seyfeddin, who was only 14 years old at that time, was attacked by a leopard. Seifadi did not have a sword or an arrow. However, he bravely defended himself and, despite his serious injury, strangled the bar to death. The Kipchaks, who were amazed by his bravery, began to call Seyfeddin by the name of Baybars (the groom of leopards), and he also went down in history with this name.
